A school bus and 18-wheeler were involved in a crash in southwest Houston Friday. Houston police said the wreck happened on the feeder road of Beltway 8 at South Gessner about 6:30 a.m. Houston Independent School District spokesman Jason Spencer said the bus driver was taking 13 students to school when the wreck happened.
