The Franconia Museum will sponsor a special Civil War Sesquicentennial bus tour Saturday, April 28. The event includes visits to Harpers Ferry and Sharpsburg, among other significant sites. A feature is a stop at a home near Harpers Ferry, still in the family of one of the tour leaders, that was built after the Civil War from bricks salvaged from the destroyed U.S. Arsenal and Armory. |
