The Broome County Special Investigations Unit arrested two men recently as they were getting off a bus. Police say 21 year-old Marcus Jackson and 25 year-old Michael Cowen both of Binghamton are roommates. Police say they had just traveled back to this area from New York City and were carrying crack cocaine. |

For two men who arrived in town on a Greyhound bus--their last stop wasn't Binghamton: After getting off the bus at the terminal downtown, they were stopped again, by Binghamton police. January 12 2012 - Unexpected Landing at Binghamton Airport
There was an unexpected landing at the greater Binghamton airport Wednesday. An aircraft on its way to Rochester from Dulles International Airport outside Washington D.C. had to land after a cockpit warning light indicated possible smoke in the baggage department. No smoke was discovered and passengers were taken by bus to Rochester. |
